Face masks required at all Jefferson County AmFirst branches

Starting Monday, June 29 at 5 p.m., all public establishments in Jefferson County will require you to wear a face covering, according to guidelines by the Jefferson County Health Department.

This includes all AmFirst branches located within Jefferson County.

You are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask at all other AmFirst branch locations.

Coverings may be fashioned from scarves, bandanas, or other suitable fabrics as long as it covers the mouth and nose of the wearer.

Parents, guardians, and caregivers of children 8 years old or younger should exercise their own discretion regarding the ability of those children to consistently and effectively wear a face covering or mask.

This order will remain in effect until the Jefferson County Health Officer determines that public health conditions in the county warrant discontinuation of or change in this order.

  • Downtown
  • Ensley
  • Forestdale
  • Gardendale
  • Hoover
  • Hueytown
  • Lakeshore
  • McCalla
  • Roebuck
  • Trussville
  • Vestavia Hills
