AmFirst hosting blood drive with LifeSouth on Aug. 12

Now is your chance to do good and give back to the community.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, August 12 outside of AmFirst’s Downtown branch, located at 1200 4th Avenue North in Birmingham.

If there’s a certain time you’d like to donate, you can sign up at this link.

The blood drive will last from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Donors must be 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and must show a photo I.D. A written parental permission is required for 16-year-old donors.

All donors will also receive a T-shirt!

New fee for loan payments:

Starting on January 1, 2023, there will be an $8.00 transaction fee for loan payments when members pay with a debit card.

If you are making a loan payment using your checking account and routing number (ACH) there will continue to be no transaction fee. Also, there will continue to be no transaction fee if you are using the transfer function in Online Banking to make a payment.
