LifeSouth to host blood drive at AmFirst Gardendale branch

AmFirst is teaming up with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers to host a blood drive today.

LifeSouth will be at our Gardendale branch on Friday, Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Blood supplies are running low, and it’s important now more than ever to donate.

The Gardendale branch is located at:

1039 Mount Olive Road
Gardendale, AL 35071

Donors must be 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and must show a photo I.D. All donors will also receive a $20 e-gift card.

A written parental permission is required for 16-year-old donors.

New fee for loan payments:

Starting on January 1, 2023, there will be an $8.00 transaction fee for loan payments when members pay with a debit card.

If you are making a loan payment using your checking account and routing number (ACH) there will continue to be no transaction fee. Also, there will continue to be no transaction fee if you are using the transfer function in Online Banking to make a payment.
