AmFirst is once again partnering up withto host a blood drive.
The drive will be held Friday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside of our Mobile branch, located at 1050 Montlimar Drive.
LifeSouth is hoping to collect at least 12 units at the Blood Drive due to the community hospitals’ emergency need for blood. Units are taken to local hospitals, including Children’s of Alabama, Birmingham VA Medical Center, DCH, and Coosa Valley Medical Center.
Donors must be 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and must show a photo I.D.
A written parental permission is required for 16-year-old donors.
All donors will receive a free T-shirt and free cholesterol screening as well.
