Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

For more than 30 years Volunteers of America Southeast, WALA FOX10, and donors like you give hope to those who are hungry, experiencing homelessness, struggling with disabilities or addictions, and often isolated during the holidays. AmFirst is teaming up with WALA FOX10 and Volunteers of America Southeast to collect donations that will benefit their Warm Hands, Warm Hearts sponsorship. It is all part of their 10 Caring Gifts campaign.

Our Mobile branch located at 1050 Montlimar Drive will accept donations inside. Bring in new, unwrapped gloves, hats, scarves, and socks for all ages starting on Wednesday, Dec. 14 until Monday, Jan. 9. Volunteers of America Southeast will distribute these collected donations to people in tent cities as well as low-income seniors, people with developmental disabilities, and those who are experiencing homelessness.

With AmFirst and our Mobile members’ help through the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts sponsorship, these individuals going through hardships will have what they need for the colder months. Thank you for sharing the warmth this winter.

Learn more about the sponsorship from Fox10 News.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE ALERT: All branches will close early for Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 at 1 p.m. and will reopen Thursday, Dec. 26 at 9 a.m.
